ABOUT THE GRADUATE TRAINEESHIP
You’ll begin your Graduate Traineeship soon after joining us. It’s designed to get you up to speed on IMC's trading strategies and product coverage, as well as the critical infrastructure that underpins everything we do.
You’ll be based in one of our global offices, where you’ll immediately be immersed in IMC’s collaborative, high-performance culture. Depending on your area of focus, you’ll receive specialised, hands-on training from our experienced traders and engineers.
The training combines classroom learning with real-world challenges to help you build your knowledge and skills from the ground up. It’s also a unique opportunity to connect with peers from each of our global offices and network with senior leaders.

Trading School
Immerse yourself in our intensive six-week programme, designed for full-time graduate quant researchers and traders taking their first steps into the world of financial markets.
Development School
Test yourself against real-world programming challenges on our five-week programme that brings together graduate developers and engineers from all of IMC's global offices.
FPGA School
Develop your skills and discover the challenges of working with IMC’s world-class trading infrastructure in this immersive three-week programme.

CONTINUING YOUR TRAINING IN AMSTERDAM
After completing your Graduate Traineeship, you’ll undertake further structured training in the Amsterdam office.
The exact training you receive during your Local Traineeship will depend on your school and specialisation. For example, those returning from our Trading School will learn more about the specific trading strategies and tools we use in the Amsterdam office.
TRADING SPOTLIGHT
The Local Trading Traineeship is designed to prepare you to join one of our desks as a fully fledged trader.
You'll spend time in the classroom, exploring topics covered during the Graduate Traineeship in greater depth, while also covering the customised trading functionalities deployed in our Amsterdam office.
The final few weeks involve a hands-on trading simulation. Expect to put everything you've learned into practice – from conceptualising a trade to managing the risks associated with trade execution.
You'll also get to know our trading and support teams inside and out. And you'll be closely mentored to ensure you make the most of your learning experience. At the end, you’ll be assigned to a specific trading desk or team.
