ABOUT THE EVENT
You’ll join one of our tech or trading cohorts and be thrown head-first into the exciting and challenging world of trading and tech.
The Masterclass is designed for people interested in either of the two streams available at IMC: trading or technology.
You’ll learn about our core trading tools, get to grips with market making, and discover different technological platforms we use through talks, lectures, and games. You’ll also push yourself to the limits during a live challenge.
Our trading cohort goes through a live trading simulation, while the tech stream is put through an algorithmic optimisation coding challenge in your choice of Java or C++.
Both cohorts will get the chance to learn from peers and colleagues, discuss the newest and most effective trading strategies with our traders, and network with other attendees.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Enrolled at a UK university
Studying a relevant degree
(e.g. Computer Science, Maths, Econometrics, Engineering, or a related field)
Penultimate and final-year students
For trading: comfortable with Python
For tech, comfortable with Java or C++
